Lemon Herb Grilled Fish
Fresh, zesty, and full of flavor! This Lemon Herb Grilled Fish is a light, protein-packed dish perfect for any healthy meal plan. It’s quick to prep, even faster to grill, and guaranteed to be a hit on your table.
Ingredients
- 4 white fish fillets (such as cod, halibut, or tilapia)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Clean and oil the grates to prevent sticking.
- Make the marinade by whisking together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, parsley, dill, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Pat fish dry, then place in a shallow dish or zip-top bag. Pour marinade over fillets and let sit for 15–20 minutes (not much longer—citrus can “cook” the fish).
- Grill fish for 3–4 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until it flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra herbs and lemon wedges.
