Cucumber Yogurt Dip (Tzatziki)
Cool, creamy, and full of fresh flavor—this traditional Mediterranean dip is perfect with veggies, grilled meats, or pita!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 English cucumber, grated and drained
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- Optional: pinch of black pepper
Instructions:
- Grate the cucumber, then squeeze out excess moisture using a clean towel or cheesecloth.
- In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, olive oil, dill, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
- Serve with fresh veggies, grilled meats, or warm pita.
