Cucumber Yogurt Dip (Tzatziki)

Cool, creamy, and full of fresh flavor—this traditional Mediterranean dip is perfect with veggies, grilled meats, or pita!

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 English cucumber, grated and drained
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • Optional: pinch of black pepper
  1. Grate the cucumber, then squeeze out excess moisture using a clean towel or cheesecloth.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, olive oil, dill, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  4. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
  5. Serve with fresh veggies, grilled meats, or warm pita.
