Cauliflower & Cilantro Stirfry with Sirloin Strips

We’re thrilled to share this week’s food bank bounty with you, brought together through the collaboration between Neighbors Cooking and #thecentercvThe LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert. Recipe 1: Cauliflower & Cilantro Stir-Fry with Sirloin Strips ![]()

Ingredients:

1 head of cauliflower (chopped)
–
Sirloin strips
–
Mushrooms (sliced)
–
Mini cucumbers (sliced)
–
Fresh cilantro (chopped)
–
Salt and pepper to taste
–
2 cloves of garlic (minced)
–
Olive oil
Instructions:
1. Heat a splash of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
2. Add minced garlic and sirloin strips. Cook until the strips are browned.
3. Add chopped cauliflower and sliced mushrooms. Stir-fry until tender.
4. Mix in the sliced mini cucumbers.
5. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Just before serving, sprinkle fresh cilantro over the dish.
7. Serve warm and enjoy!
Recipe 2: Strawberry Beef Lettuce Wraps 

Ingredients:

Fresh strawberries (sliced)
–
Lettuce leaves (for wraps)
–
Ground beef or stew meat
–
Eggs (2, beaten)
–
Mini cucumbers (sliced)
–
Cilantro (optional for garnish)
–
Salt and pepper to taste
–
Chili flakes (optional)
–
Sliced Carrotts (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef or stew meat until browned. Drain excess fat.
2. Add beaten eggs to the skillet, scrambling them with the cooked meat.
3. Mix in sliced mini cucumbers and strawberries.
4. Season with salt, pepper, and optional chili flakes for a bit of heat.
5. Spoon the mixture onto large lettuce leaves forming wraps.
6. Garnish with cilantro for added freshness.
7. Serve and enjoy your refreshing wraps!
